And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.1 John 5:11

The above scripture is telling us that, God has given the greatest gift to the world—eternal life—and that life is in his Son, Jesus Christ. As Christians we celebrate his birth at Christmas, yet even more, we praise God for the gift of salvation and eternal life that was given to us though Jesus Christ. At the time of Christmas the people around the world exchange gifts. It represents the real Christmas (the greatest gift), what God has given to the World.
